TERWE
TERWE is the Lähiklinikat.
Unfortunately, the PRH officials did not approve the Lähiklinika's name, so the old logo was never used. Lähiklinikat, which is TERWE - Is a healthcare company offering innovative solutions for modern clinics. They operate healthcare offices and manufacture mobile care units designed to meet a wide range of healthcare needs.
The naming contains a deep meaning:
Terwe - Terve "Hi" or "Healthy"
The keywords for this logo were: quality, trust, modernity, and affordability. Beyond that, I was given creative freedom to develop the design, with only the color palette serving as a guideline.
The client already owns another healthcare company with established brand guidelines. They requested that this logo align with the same visual style and graphics while incorporating a new logo and name to differentiate it.
Process
I created 3 versions:
A heart: This logo features a stylized hand with a heart shape inside of it. The hand symbolizes a welcoming gesture, representing "hi" or greeting, while the heart inside stands for health and well-being. The integration of these elements captures the dual meaning of "Terwe" - both a greeting and a wish for health.
A hand: In this design, I focused on the letter "W" by shaping it to resemble a heartbeat monitor line. This creative twist turns the "W" into a dynamic, health-related element, emphasizing vitality and life in the word "Terwe." This logo speaks to the health aspect while remaining visually engaging and unique.
This straightforward design uses a heart symbol paired with a heartbeat line that forms the letter "W." The heartbeat line not only reinforces the idea of health but also subtly nods to the word "Terwe" through the distinct "W" shape. It's a simple yet effective representation of health and life.
Comments on the logos: "First two logo options are not suitable. The last one is. I actually like it a lot, it represents everything that we want and it is really smartly combined (the pulse with the the letter W). The pulse graph is too restless. It seems like arrythmia. So maybe calm it down little"
After receiving the feedback, I continued working on the logo. I changed the font that was more suitable for the company, and calmed down the heartbeat.
