Sweet Hearts
This design was made as one of my study tasks. The task was to create a food packaging design.
For this project, I chose to create a package for sugar-free sweets. The goal was to design an eye-catching package that would draw attention, addressing the issue that sugar-free sweets typically have a bland appearance and are often overlooked by children. Only adults might buy them for their health benefits, but not their design. However, given the health concerns associated with sugar, I was inspired to ask: Why not create sugar-free sweets with nice designs also to attract children's attention?
That became my goal.
I had creative freedom on this project, which made the process more enjoyable and easy to handle. I selected flamingo pink for the primary color so the packaging stood out on shelves without being overly bright. The heart design was inspired by vintage cartoons, a style beloved by children but also recognizable to adults, potentially evoking a sense of nostalgia.
